DEVELOPMENT / OPEN FIELD NOTES

A BEACHHEAD.
A BIGGER PICTURE.

Here’s where the game stands, what’s getting our attention and what we hope to build next. Your playtests help decide the way forward.

LAST CONTENT UPDATE / 12 September 2026

These are development stages, not deadlines. Priorities and scope may change as we learn from playtesting.

PLAYABLE NOW

OPERATION BREAKWATER.

A complete first-mission route from the beach landing through 16 combat sectors, the Breakwater Goliath and extraction. The Windows playtest supports solo and local two-player co-op.

  • Checkpoint recovery and saved Requisition.
  • Weapons, throwables, field upgrades and Armory challenges.
  • Player drones with live camera feeds and manual flight.
  • A drivable Technical, gunner seat and support strikes.
  • Local co-op revive, shared camera and ping.
  • Remapping, options and accessibility settings.

Playable systems are still being refined. First-mission corrections and physical hardware checks remain active work.

IN PROGRESS

MAKE THE NEXT RUN BETTER.

Our focus is the first mission: controls that feel right, clearer threats and a more consistent solo and co-op experience.

  • Operator death, respawn and shared-life behavior.
  • Joining a second player and controller ownership.
  • Gate collision, encounter flow and Goliath readability.
  • Drone flight, audio and return behavior.
  • Mission briefing, menus and animation polish.
  • Physical controllers, lower-end performance and longer play sessions.
PLANNED NEXT

BEYOND THE SHORELINE.

Expand the Jungle campaign with River Crossing, Occupied Village and the Hydra river-fortress mission. Then develop Patrol into a polished mode built around waves, risk and the decision to extract.

These missions and Patrol are not part of the current playable campaign. Hydra’s title-screen appearance is a preview.

LATER CAMPAIGN PLANS

THE NEXT FRONT LINES.

Desert convoy roads, refineries and airfields. Urban suburbs, downtown checkpoints and a metro exit. New environments bring new encounter ideas and larger threats, including the Mothership and Sentinel bosses.

UNDER CONSIDERATION / STRETCH SCOPE

A LITTLE FURTHER OUT.

The Arctic campaign and Directorate HQ are stretch scope. Online co-op, Daily Ops and leaderboards are ideas to evaluate after the core game is in better shape. None is a promised part of the current beta.
